The Year in Review

There are still two days left in 2023 and, while I believe in miracles, I’m taking the weekend off and will report any supernatural occurrences on next Friday’s post. In the meantime, we have had a very good year at House of Honor Books. As of yesterday, we had three audiobooks in Amazon’s Hot New Release top one hundred list in their respective categories.

We released fifteen new titles on Kindle and Paperback and eleven audiobooks on Audible. Our audiobook sales exceeded 2,000. In addition, we welcomed Robert Borders, WJR Miller, Cillian Dunne, TS Burns, and Ronald Hancock to our list of published authors. Sadly, Ronald Hancock passed away on December 3rd.

Authors Shaun McBride, Judy Snyder, Rachel Roth, Rick Shaw, Keshia C. Willi, and Jack LaFountain all added at least one new book to their growing list of works. We are proud of all our authors and are glad to offer their books at the events we attend.

Keshia, Terry, Wayne, Jack, Judy, and Robert were all involved in getting out meeting their readers, and putting a face to House of Honor Books. Some of them shared their experiences in blog posts. Judy, Rick, and Jack had short stories aired on podcasts. Keshia and Jack also appeared on media interviews.

Kindle Unlimited has logged over 189,000 pages of House of Honor Books read this year. That’s 522 pages per day. Numbers don’t tell the whole story of our success. New authors breaking into print is the reason we founded the company. In that regard, this past year has been a great success. We still have four authors waiting to make that leap to print.
